Contest Winner Announced!
It is with great pleasure that Meteor House announces the winner of its recent Tuckerization contest.
Congratulations to Tuckerization contest winner Kevin Cook who will now be incorporated into the Wold Newton Origins novella, “The Wild Huntsman,” by Win Scott Eckert. What could be more coveted and historic than to be immortalized in a Wold Newton story! Well done, Kevin, we’re very pleased for you and hope you’re as excited about this as we are. You can look forward to being the envy of friends, Farmer fans, and fellow readers when the book, The Worlds of Philip José Farmer 3: Portraits of a Trickster is published later this summer.
For those who have not yet ordered their copy of The Worlds of Philip José Farmer 3: Portraits of a Trickster, note that we have not quite reached the first 100 preorders yet. So, if you order now, there is a still a very good chance you will get one of the custom laminated bookmarks that will be sent out with the first 100 copies (since the books are a numbered limited edition, and you get the same number of each volume if you purchase them all, we’ll point out here that it is not numbers 1 through 100 that get bookmarks, but the first 100 people to preorder their volume).
One more bit of happy news to convey: the deadline for preordering Exiles of Kho and having your name appear in the book on the acknowledgements page has been extended by one week. The original deadline was June 30, but since the book isn’t ready to go to the printer just yet, you now have until July 7. With a very small print run, we fully expect this book to be sold out shortly after FarmerCon in August. So do yourself a favor and order now! This way you won’t be kicking yourself later for missing out on a book you’re sure to hear all of Farmer fandom talking about for some time to come.
